COMPARING THE 3 EXPRESS ENTRY PROGRAMS

THE CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS (CEC) PROGRAM
Immigration program for foreign workers who have at least 1 year of qualified professional experience in Canada (in NOC’S 0, A or B roles) in the last 3 years before applying, either full-time or the equivalent in hours as part-time , but always with worker status (work experience with student and cooperative status does not count).
THE FEDERAL SKILLED TRADES PROGRAM
Immigration program for foreign workers who have at least 2 years of international and/or Canadian work experience in certain roles that require technical and specialized knowledge, listed as “Skilled Trades”, during the 5 years prior to their application.
