The Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, announced today that Express Entry draws will soon resume and reveil and opportunities for international graduate students.
These are the specific immigration programs for each province, with different requirements according to the objective of meeting the region’s immigration needs, which may target: students, investors and foreign workers.
Immigration program for foreign workers who have at least 1 year of qualified professional experience in Canada (in NOC’S 0, A or B roles) in the last 3 years before applying, either full-time or the equivalent in hours as part-time , but always with worker status (work experience with student and cooperative status does not count).
Immigration program for foreign workers who have at least 2 years of international and/or Canadian work experience in certain roles that require technical and specialized knowledge, listed as “Skilled Trades”, during the 5 years prior to their application.
The Federal Skilled Worker is an Immigration program for foreign workers who have at least 1 year of qualified and paid international professional experience.
